Did I miss the June Member drawing?

I haven’t decided if I like this set or not. Just seems like they tried too hard to be flashy without really adding much to the set.

Also, am I missing something? I don’t see a Tyreek Hill in the pics?

Buying Dart. He had a decent year last year with almost no real support due to injuries. If his support stays healthy, he could have a really good year this year.

Holding on Maye. He’s done well, and still has some movement to work on I think. Could turn out well.

Selling on Caleb. I think he’s at about the peak here. Unless he somehow breaks out even more with some sort of MVP season, I don’t see him going up any more.

Ok, so not entirely surprised that you got a good deal on the Murray. With him moving to Minnesota and not having done all that well recently, the value on his cards has gone down a bit. Hopefully he revives his career in MN, but time will have to tell on that.

The Judkins though, that’s a great pull. He’s likely to have a decent year, and really only suffers because he’s sharing carries.

Either of them could have a great breakout year and bring the value of the cards back a lot.

I missed this announcement. That could be really cool. I wonder if they’ll do reslabs as well? So if I have a Degree slab with current slabs and want to add to my collection without regrading, can I just upgrade to the black slabs? That would be an excellent add on for this. Either way, I like what they’ve got going on.

I buy and sell on eBay and recently started using Collx as well.

I’ve tried using 130 point for comps but found it to be a bit clunky for larger lists of cards.

I’ve tried using SportsCardPro.com for collection tracking and some comps and it works reasonably well for collection tracking, but has some flaws as far as comps go.

Ultimately, if I’m looking for comps, I usually resort to just doing the old search on ebay for sold listings.

Oooh. Yeah, that’s a very pretty card. Love the colors on it.

I see the one on June 6th or whatever. I’m thinking the one that should have happened earlier this month?

For sure. To get the same number of eyes on your stuff would cost way more without the marketplace. That’s the one thing I have as an issue with collx is just that the market isn’t large enough yet. Not enough buyers so stuff seems to move slower there.

Yeah, same here. I’ve made a couple of sales on collx, but the vast majority of my sales are on ebay so the value there is more relevant.

Well, I sent both of them off to Degree for grading/slabbing, so I’ll have to post some when they return with 11s… 😀

I need one of those around here. Not sure any of my local shops would do that. I’m sure they’d let me buy a box and rip it in store, but the beer part, not sure…

Exactly. And I can’t always afford to rip a $600 box, but even if I sell the spots at a small loss, I still get to see what was in the box and still get a bit of the excitement of ripping the big hits and seeing them. I mean, the goal is to not sell at a loss at all, but I can validate it a lot easier if I don’t lose much on a break.

Ok. I misread it. I totally agree though, why spend the time and money getting it graded if it’s one you want and the price is right.

I had no idea that was an option at all. Interesting.
