MemberJuly 21, 2026 at 4:16 pm in reply to: PC collection by selling bulk strategyso i sell on ebay and list base cards and the inserts. mostly the inserts and plenty sell and some sit a while. unfortunately these are the cards that are always hard to sell. unless its one that is going for crazy money. Now if its the crap base alot of people in the hobby i know actually give them away to librarys and boys and girls club if your not worried about getting money for them.. heck some even put lots togethar and hand them out at halloween

MemberJuly 21, 2026 at 4:33 pm in reply to: Topps selling Boxes without shrink wrapoh i get that. like i said i know it would be annoying to have it all locked up from a buyer stand point and the seller.. gotta to track someone down and wait for someone to open the case and get them to get the ones you want and not just give you whats first.

MemberJuly 21, 2026 at 4:24 pm in reply to: Topps selling Boxes without shrink wrapyeah ive walked into my local one and they had the product on a display as you go to check out up near the registers but you can still get to it with out an employee. though ive seen people post pics of there dicks sporting goods card area and some have massive spots of cards. its so crazy that card shops keep it all behind them but retail its just out in the open

MemberJuly 21, 2026 at 4:18 pm in reply to: Topps selling Boxes without shrink wrapyeah the ones by me everything is just on the normal isle by registers. nothing locked up. but im sure that will change soon.. i mean honestly they should all have it locked up like they do video games. i know it would be annoying but that would keep the scalpers from buying it all up. or those stealing and taking just the packs..

MemberJuly 21, 2026 at 4:14 pm in reply to: PC collection by selling bulk strategyits hard to say.. low pop can be good but also might be best to sell quick if the price is right. but i have seen cards with very high pop and they still sell for crazy money.

well if that same person has it they know they got a great deal back then.. but yeah hard to know that someones card will go from 100 dollars to well over a few thousand dollars

well thats good and im sure its still hit or miss. ive done some marvel blasters and so far been skunked. ideally i want them to give kids more a chance but i know alot of adults will then just do what they can to buy it all up and such.. its gotten so crazy the way the hobby has become from where it started

yeah and thats crazy to me.. but sports cards and tcg are not investments
