MemberMarch 14, 2026 at 12:26 am in reply to: What’s your preferred method of selling cards and paring down your collection?Im mainly on ebay. Have had some decent sales and there are times of no sales but im not trying to get rich and let the patience go there.. If a card sells it sells. .. I hear live selling is a way to go like on whatnot or ebay live. Ive done a few sells that way but its a little more hetic for me as not that great talking on video or live streams as i feel like im sounding dumb.

I sell low end on ebay. really no methods much. i see what ebay says the card as sold for already and measure my prices based on that. Really dont do any spreadsheets though i think i need to for determining actual profit. But i normally get my cards in bulk and then list singly.

sadly prices have gone up again and turn around times have practically doubled. They give an estimated turn around time but it seems they usually go over that and take longer.

Im new too but i think certain players people really get behind and start pushing there cards and prices go up. Obviously there stats and type of year there having play a role too. And its the times we are in. Some cards that where worth alot a few years back are now worth a few dollars. But i also feel that some values of cards are kinda inflated and it draws the question of is that card really worth that.. Ultimately i think a cards value is what someone is willing to pay for it. Especially if its for pc and not selling anytime soon.

MemberMarch 13, 2026 at 9:43 pm in reply to: Is the hobby going to price out the low-end collectors?I dont think the hobby will out price the low end collectors. We will have to get more strategic and picky. There is still value in low end. Low end is more of the waiting and small sales game then those big hits with a big payout all at once.
