Panini is cool but they are going to have to restructure. The unlicensed stuff is a nice alternative but 99% of is junk cards with the occasional nice auto. Leaf and Wild Card get by because they dip more into the niche. I think Panini is trying to be Topps but cheaper and I don’t see that making it long term

I love the new culture of making those autos pop. Those bobbleheads kinda started the trend but a genius card collector realized what if I try it on cards. I feel like just the right auto color can add so much value to a card. Can help it stand out above others

Depends where you get it signed. The number paint pen or sharpie, the jersey it’s self (some people do it) a sharpie or fabric pen.

Very special prep for the paint pens. Paper or sketch just give it a lil rub with the microfiber but if it’s chrome, first wipe a high polymer eraser over the auto area, the wipe area with a microfiber. Always prep the marker too. Then before the auto write on a practice card of a similar material. Paint pen autos will be perfect every time

Agreed, like all technology, there’s always going to be those who use it with ill intent

Absolutely. I have several friends who sketch for Topps and my wife and daughter do it as hobby, so I am glad that shows have taken steps to remove that kind of art

I will say to that picture of the spiderweb parallel does not do it justice. Those red webs jump off the card. It’s so cool

Yeah usually there’s different layers. Like there’s SSPs that don’t have as crazy of a radio that can happen one in like a hundred packs. But always feel free to me up with any questions
