My store is highly customer focused. We have an online presence for breaks but also have a brick and morter store and we try to essentially provide customers with a relaxed, fun environment to rip. You can order a beer and box and just chill and rip.

100% agree and honestly its not really bombarding them, its about of the PA agreement usually

Naturally in bad condition because a artist has been handling it so its never as pristine as reg cards

Usually its just overall presentation….Is the auto centered well….does it go over import details (player name, serial number, RC shield)….is the dead spots in the signature or is it consistent all the way through…..

I didn’t like how Tampa did him and I hope that doesn’t spoil something like that down the line because he will def be a Hall of Famer one day. Part of me wants him to have a crazy season in SF this year to spite Bucs Ownership lol

My shop is pretty good at shot calling those upcharges. If anything looks like its going to go past $1500 comp wise we let the customer know. Rarely are we wrong or miss one. *Knock on wood* lol

The Tecmo one I don’t fully understand anymore because the reason he won’t sign stuff is he got screwed over in the past by them. But his TCG has a Tecmo set now? I don’t get it lol butt either way the item I have always wanted more than was a signed Bo rookie. That was fabled playground stuff. “Did you here Joey’s older brother has a signed Bo Jackson rookie?!” lol

Such a fun rip though lol I’ve found all kinds of weird stuff for customers. Ripped one of the Bronx sets, had a quad auto of the last 4 Yankees managers. Basically everything manager since the 70s

Thing is he won’t sign the shoulder pad card or anything Tecmo related. The best you can do is hope to nail a great Bo rookie and see if you can nail one of those covered 10 10 Bo Rookies worth thousands

I definitely think there should be stickers but only to a certain level. Like make the really low numbers a on card, essentially creating a variation within the card
